I was born and grew up in Sibiu. I have graduated from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, (TUCN) Computer Science (CS) Department, in June 2006.

I have received my Master Degree from the same university in February, 2008.

I have just finished my PhD (Sept. 2012), again at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.

• Teaching assistant - laboratory works for Fundamental Algorithms and Logic Programming

• Researcher - data mining field; special interests: mining imbalanced and cost-sensitive data, handling incomplete data, feature selection.

• play basketball, or go for a swim

• see a movie

• go (window) shopping

• go skiing, when possible

• read, paint, knit, make spooky leather animals...:)

• travel

• take photographs, although I'm not so good at it yet :)
