Born on December 22, 1977 in Ocna-Mures, Alba County, Romania; single.

 

 

 

June 1996:

Graduation of the Industrial High-School in Ocna–Mures, Alba County, Romania.

1996 - 2001:

Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

September 2001:

Dipl.-Ing. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

2001 - 2002:

One-year Post-graduate Study in "Automation of energy-efficient electric drives", at the Electrical Engineering Faculty, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

June 2002:

Post-graduate Study Dissertation "Flywheel energy storage system, with permanent magnets synchronous machine", prepared at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca , Romania.

December 2005: Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers - ENSAM (L2EP Laboratory), France and from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Subject of the Ph.D. Thesis: "Flywheel energy storage system associated to the wind generators" (Ph.D. Co-advisors: Prof. Mircea M. Radulescu and Prof. Benoit ROBYNS).

 

 

 

 

1995:

3rd Prize Award at the Romanian High-School Competition in Electrotechnics.

1996:

2nd Prize Award at the Romanian High-School Competition in Electrotechnics.

September 2000:

Invited Student at the Summer Course in Ohrid, Macedonia, organized by "Friederich-Alexander" University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and DAAD, Germany.

2001 March - June:

ERASMUS Student at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes d'Ingénieur - HEI, Universite Catholique de Lille, France. Within this stage, I have prepared my Electrical Engineering Diploma Project: "New Sensorless Operation of the Brushless DC Motors".

Sep - Dec 2002, Apr - Jun 2003, Jan - Apr 2004, Sep - Dec 2004 and Mar - May 2005: Doctoral stage at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes d'Ingénieur- HEI, Universite Catholique de Lille, France.
