About
I graduated from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania in 2006, with a bachelor degree in Computer Science. In 2008 I graduated a master course in Software Engineering at the same University and in 2011 I received my Ph.D. from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, with the thesis “Contributions to Quality of Service Assurance and Performance Enhancement in Computer Networks” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Eng. Vasile Teodor Dadarlat.
I currently hold an Associate professor position at the Computer Science Department. My main research interests are in computer networks, network engineering and management, QoS in homogeneous and heterogeneous networks, SDNs and NFV, sensor networks, and their applications to different domains (IoT, VANETs, smart grids, environment, etc.).
