CAVING I started caving in 1994, in the Ursii (Bears) Caving Club, in Cluj-Napoca, a very nice little group of enthusiasts that made me fall in love with nature, mountains and, of course, caves. I had a great time and I visited caves from Bihor and Padurea Craiului Mountains, and I got aquinted with the rope techniques. In 1997 I joined one of the most important caving clubs in Romania, Politehnica Caving Club, where I started my caving carrier by participating at caving schools organized by the Romanian Caving Federation. In 2001 I graduated a Caving Instructor test in France, and since then I have the 1st degree of Caving Instructor, called Initiator, also in the Romanian Caving School and in the French one. I also obtained a Cave Rescue Team Leader certificate. Since 2004 I was elected the Director of the Romanian Caving School in the Romanian Caving Federation. I do caving in Padurea Craiului and Bihor Mountains, but occasionally I go in other places in Romania or other countries. Some of my favourite caves: Sesuri, Grind, Poienita, Humpleu and anything with great technical challenges. The caving equipment I prefere and use: Petzl Explorer helmet
