Grading Principles
Grading is based on three components: laboratory assignments, and a
final exam.
The percentage of each is as follows:
- 35% lab tests (L)
- 65% exams (30% midterm, 70% final)
Each component is evaluated to a mark in the range 1..10.
Thus, the formula used for grading is: ( 3.5L +
6.5(0.3midterm+0.7final) /
10
The final marks are integers in the range 1..10.
Assignment Grading
Proportions of aspects considered:
- 40% correctness
- 10% program readability/clarity
- 10% comments
- 40% proof of understanding
