Grading Principles and Policy
Grading is based on three components: laboratory assignments, a number
of written assignments (homeworks) and a final exam.
The percentage of each is as follows:
- 40% lab assignments and activity (L)
- 60% exam (E)
Each of the components is evaluated to a "mark" in the range 0..10.
An assignment/homework which is not
delivered is evaluated to 0 (zero).
The exam is passed only if a mark of at
least 5 is obtained for each component.
Thus, the formula used for grading is: ( 4L + 6E ) / 10
The final marks are in the range 1..10.
