About

My name is Mircea Paul Muresan and I am a Senior Lecturer and Researcher. My interests include Robotics, AI and Computer Vision for the fields of autonomous systems (autonomous vehicles, drones and humanoids) and automated industrial inspection and measurements.
I am currently involved in the following activities:

  • Teaching Activities
    At the Bachelor’s level, I teach the following courses:
    • Structure of Computing Systems – lectures, laboratory sessions, and project work
    • Image Processing – laboratory sessions and project work
    • Computer Architecture – laboratory sessions
    At the Master’s level, I teach:
    • Image Processing and Computer Vision – within the Data Science Master’s program
    • Foundations of Computer Architecture – within the Complementary Computer Science Master’s program
    All the above-mentioned courses are taught at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, within the Department of Computer Science.
  • Research Activities and Projects
