For each week, the activities associated to this discipline are:
- Course: 2 hours
- Laboratory sessions: 2 hours
Students will implement several pattern recognition applications (see Labs
) . The lab assistants may give you short pieces of homework at the end of each lab seesion.
- Project: 1 hour
Students will recieve an individual assignment (see Project Assignment
). Each project hour will consist in discussion about the ongoing work for the projects implementation..
The course is designed to introduce students to theoretical concepts and practical issues associated
with pattern recognition.
Upon completion of the course, the student should be knowledgeable and competent in applying the
concepts, and should be capable of reading advanced textbooks and research literature in the pattern recognition field.
