I'm a research assistant in the project "New optical coherence tomography biomarkers identified by Deep Learning for risk stratification in patients with age-related macular degeneration" focused on finding a RNN model or adapting and/or expanding an existing tool that can predict cell behavior according to various factors/stimuli based on the chemical pathways that are triggered in the presence of a new molecule
Working for a possible technical solution to find a model and training methods for an recurrent artificial neural network based on first-order differential equations that can simulate cellular behavior (describe and predict chemical reactions) depending on the activated biochemical pathways
We want to reach a conclusion about the initial signs of inflammation or how it can be prevented, as well as how the RPE cell would react to various stimuli in AMD context

The infrastructure is based on Debian distribution, virtualized by Proxmox. OpenVPN stands as an access gateway. The networking is done entirely at the network layer (layer 3) with different access and internet access levels, while the firewall is based mainly on raw iptables rules. It can handle two types of entities, KVM and LXC containers. The entire infrastructure and main user interactions are fully automated with Ansible
