I am the head of the knowledge discovery in data (KDD) team within the Knowledge Engineering Group at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.
My current research fields are: knowledge discovery in databases and e-learning.
Current research efforts focus on:
- data pre-processing
- learning methods
- dealing with imbalanced data
- real world application prototypes
