• Polytechnic Institute (now Technical University) of Cluj-Napoca, 1963-1968, Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (June 1968)
• Technical University of Timisoara (without frequency), Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering (1977). Dissertation title: Studies about the one-phase linear motor (supervisor: Prof. Toma DORDEA, member of Romanian Academy)
