School-leaving exam: received my diploma with a mark of 9.44 (on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best), in 1995; I got 10 on the English test (optional).
Faculty: in the same year with the school-leaving exam, 1995, I was admitted to the Faculty of Automation and Computer Sciences, English section; in the 3rd year, being practical, I opted for the Automation Section, English.
Diploma thesis: Real-time Process Remote Control over the Internet; the obtained mark: 10. I developed the diploma project in Visual C++ and IBM VisualAge for Java, with Web-based communication elements and a hardware part connected to the parallel port. The engineering degree exam average: 9.31.
Master’s degree: my master’s thesis is about remote distributed built-in testing (DBIST), using three methods: Java/CORBA, Web/PHP and WML/PHP, and is entitled BIST Techniques for Distributed Systems. I defended it in 2001.
Doctorate: I defended my PhD thesis at the Communication Department, in 2008; the thesis is entitled Contributions to the Design for Testability of Distributed Systems.
Pedagogical background: I got my teaching diploma at the Pedagogical Department of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, with an average of 9.83 (theoretical and practical examinations).
