Technical skills
  • Practical knowledge and experience installing, configuring and maintaining Windows, Linux and FreeBSD-like operating systems in LANs;
  • Theoretical knowledge and experience working with different protocols from the TCP/IP stack: IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, MPLS, Ethernet, PPP, VoIP (SIP, IAX, H.323), etc.
  • IPv4/IPv6 routing protocols: RIP, OSPF, BGP (Zebra/Quagga and GateD daemons on Linux boxes, as well as on Cisco/Linksys routers); 
  • Strong knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 multicast routing (FreeBSD with KAME) and alternative multicast technologies;
  • Protocol analysis using traffic capturing tools like: Ethereal, Wireshark or tcpdump; 
  • Telecommunication technologies: PSTN, ISDN, ATM, GSM;
  • Experience in configuring and operating PBX-IP Asterisk under Linux (Fedora Core or LIVE distributions) using SIP, IAX, H.323 channels and hardware modules for PSTN, GSM (Digium and VoiSmart); 
  • Basic programming skills in C/C++ under Linux;
  • LaTeX knowledge under Windows OS with proTeXt (MiKTeX, TeXnicCenter, Ghostscript and GSView) distribution.
