Eng. Sorin Buzura, PhD

I am a member in the Communications Networks and Protocols Research Laboratory at the Computer Science Department of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. The main research topics that I work on are computer networks programmability, QoS and security in the scope of software-defined networking.

I previously studied at the same University, in 2012 I graduated with a BSc degree in Computer Science, in 2014 I obtained a MSc degree in the field of Communications Networks and Distributed Systems, in 2019 I became a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Eng. Vasile Teodor Dadarlat and in 2023 I completed the PhD studies with highest honors.

I have over 12 years of experience working in the private sector as a software engineer and I enjoy the technical and teaching roles in the projects that I'm involved in.
