On World Energy Efficiency Day, moderated the final workshop of the ENERGEIA Project, funded by EEA and Norway Grants by Innovation Norway in Romania. The workshop provided a platform to discuss energy efficiency and energy transition future projects and activities with representatives from companies, public bodies, and academia.

Hosted the 3rd Consortium Meeting of the PERSIST Project, bringing together project partners for a dynamic in-person meeting focused on advancing Positive Energy Districts. Over two days, partners shared key project updates and aligned on next steps to accelerate the development of sustainable, energy-positive areas.

Event Highlights:

  • Stakeholder Roundtable: Energy cooperatives, industry leaders, Ministry of Energy, research institutes, and academia discussed policy frameworks and best practices
  • Pilot Site Tour: Visit to Romania's first smart street (Strada Molnar Piuariu) and Mărăști Dormitories campus showcasing energy-efficiency measures
  • EMC E-INFRA Lab Visit: Partners toured UTCN's new electromagnetic compatibility testing laboratory with high-precision diagnostics
