Brief description

Ștefan Dragoș CÎRSTEA is associate professor at Technical University of Cluj-Napoca with a PhD degree in Economic Sciences. His research is focused on the field of socio-economic impact of renewable energy, implementation awareness and acceptance of renewable energy related technologies, energy culture, energy consumer behaviour and energy efficiency.

Since 2018, he is member of Energy Transition Research Center and of Romanian Academic Society of Management. Starting with 2018, he is founder and mentor in the Student Entrepreneurial Society. His research interests focus on energy efficiency, industrial decarbonization and energy communities.

Over the last 10 years, he has been involved in more than 15 research project and he currently coordinates a DUT Partnership project addressing Positive Energy Districts.
