Adrian Groza
received his Phd in 2008 from Technical
University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He is member in Open
Agent Based Modeling Consortium (din 2013), Int. Assoc.
for Artificial Intelligence and Law (din 2012), Computer
Science Teacher Assoc@ACM (din 2011), Special Interest
Group on Human Computer Interaction ROCHI@ACM (din 2004).
He served on several program committees of international
conferences: ICCP (Cluj-Napoca, RO), CT (Praga, Cehia,),
CDT (Venetia, Italia), SSW (Barcelona, Spania), MCCSIS
(Lisabona, Portugalia), ICCT (Freiburg, Germania), ICITST

Ioan Alfred
Letia is a key person of the research team. He
is a full professor in the Department of Computer Science
of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and head of the
Intelligent Systems Group. He is a correspondent member of
the Academy for Technical Sciences in Romania since 1999.
He received his Ph.D. in 1975 from the City University,
London, UK. He is also member of the Association for
Computing Machinery (1995-1998, 2004-Date), Gesellschaft
fur Informatik, Artificial Intelligence, Germany (since
1991), IEEE, Computer Society (1992-1994, 2006-2008). His
professional activities include: guest Resercher, National

Slavescu is a Phd. student at Technical
Universitty of Cluj-Napoca, Department of Computer Science
and member of the Intelligent
Systems Group. His current research interests
regard trust in e-commerce and multi-agent systems. |

Anca Marginean
is a Phd. student at Technical Universitty of Cluj-Napoca,
Department of Computer Science and member of the Intelligent
Systems Group. Her research includes semantic
web services and semantic web. |

Bogdan
Iancu is a Lecturer at the Computer Science
Department. My main research interests are in computer
networks, network management, Quality of Service in
homogeneous and heterogeneous networks, NGNs, sensor
networks, VANETS and smart grids. |

Sergiu Zaporojan received the MSc
degree (1984) in Computer Science from the Polytechnical
Institute of Ulyanovsk, Russia. In 1986-1990 he was with
the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the
Electrotechnical Institute of Sankt-Petersburg, Russia. In
1991 he joined the Department of Computer Science and
Engineering of the Technical University of Moldova,
Republic of Moldova. He received the PhD degree from the
Technical University of Moldova (1995). His specialist
research and engineering experience is in the field of
Computer Science and Engineering. He has been actively
involved with design of digital and specialized
microprocessor systems since 1984. His current research
interests include knowledge-based intelligent systems and
their application to complex industrial processes.
Currently, he is Associate Professor at the Department of
Computer Science and Engineering and the head of the
Department of R&D, Technical University of Moldova. In
August 2011, he became associate fellow of the
International Institute for Advanced Studies in Systems
Research and Cybernetics. |

Vasile Moraru received the MSc
degree (1975) in Mathematics and Cybernetics from the
State University of Moldova, Republic of Moldova. In
1976-1979 he did doctoral studies and received the PhD
degree (1982) from the Institute of Cybernetics of Academy
of Science of Ukraine, Kiev. Work experience: Associate
Professor (1987- present), head of the Department of
Applied Informatics, Technical University of Moldova
(2007- present); Vice-dean of the Faculty of Computers,
Informatics and Microelectronics, Technical University of
Moldova (1998 - 2007). Training: Universite
''Mediterranee``, Aix-Marseille II, France (2002 and
2007), University ''Politehnica'' of Bucharest, Romania
(1998). His research interests include numerical methods
for solving decision problems, and effective methods for
solving the optimization problems. |

Constantin Plotnic received the MSc
degree (1974) in Mathematics and Cybernetics from the
State University of Moldova, Republic of Moldova. In
1977-1991 he worked as Analytical and System Programming
Engineer, and Director of Computer Center of the
Department of Construction, Republic of Moldova. From 1991
to 2002 he was with the Department of Computer Science,
Republican College of Microelectronics and Computer
Engineering, Republic of Moldova. In 2002 he joined the
Technical University of Moldova, Republic of Moldova.
Currently, he works as Senior Lecturer at the Department
of Computer Science and Engineering. His main research
interests include three-dimensional modeling, and
industrial applications based on fuzzy logic. |

Igor Calmicov received the MSc
degree in Computer Science from Technical University of
Moldova, Republic of Moldova, in 2007. His applied
research interests include digital system design based on
microcontrollers and FPGA, intelligent control systems,
signal and image processing. Currently, he works as Senior

Engineering, Technical University of Moldova, Republic of
