  • Technical University of Timişoara, 1970-1978, without frequency, Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering, Dissertation title: Slot shape, slot number and winding distribution influence on induction machine parameters and considering it on the machine characteristics (supervisor: Prof. Toma DORDEA, member of Romanian Academy)

• Magnetic field computation in electrical machines (FDM and FEM)
• CAD in electrical machines

Research activity:

• Solving, alone or within different teams from our Department, more than 30 projects for Industrial Companies. The subject of the projects were concerning different aspects like:
  • Electrical energy saving.
  • Electrical drives performances improving (new systems or a specific control).
  • Special electrical machines designing and building up (Schrage-Richter type of motor, one phase induction motor, linear motors).
  • Induction heating system analyzing and designing.
