ASEP is a computer program for inelastic analysis of arbitrary reinforced and composite concrete sections. It can be applied for rapid design, moment-curvature analysis and ultimate strength capacity evaluation of arbitrary-shaped composite steel-concrete cross-sections that are subjected to biaxial bending and axial force. The numerical procedure implemented is very stable even when the section is close to the state of pure compression or tension or when there are multiple solutions, and it is not sensitive to the initial or starting values, to how the origin of the reference loading axes is chosen and to the strain softening exhibited by concrete in compression. Furthermore, the proposed method can be applied to provide directly the ultimate resistances of the cross-section, in the hypothesis that one or two components of the section forces are known, without the need of knowing in advance the whole interaction diagram or moment capacity contour.
ASEP capabilities include:
Interaction diagrams N-Mx-My
Moment capacity contours Mx-My for constant axial force
Moment-curvature analysis
Composite steel-concrete cross sections of arbitrary shape
Compute the required reinforcement area supposing that all structural parameters are specified and, under given external loads, the cross section reaches its failure either in tension or compression

GFAS (A Finite Element System for Geotechnical Applications) a product of Geostru Corporation is a finite element package that has been developed specifically for the analysis of deformation and stability analysis in geotechnical engineering problems. GFAS is an easy-to-use yet powerful geotechnical-engineering tool for the linear and nonlinear analysis of homogenous or nonhomogenous structures in which soil models are used to simulate the soil behavior. It features a full graphical interface for pre-processing or post-processing and uses the Finite Element Method (FEM) for 2D solids for its analysis purposes. The graphical interface enable a quick generation of complex finite element models, and the enhanced output facilities provide a detailed presentation of computational results. The analysis procedures are fully automated and based on robust numerical procedures.
