She was born in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She received the MSc Degree in Electrical Engineering from Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, in 2004, the PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering from Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in 2012 and the PhD Habil Degree in Electrical Engineering from Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in 2022. She joined the Electrotechnics and Measurements Department from Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in 2004. Since 2023 she is Full Professor. She is author of seven books and 150 scientific papers in journal and/or conference proceedings. Her scientific work is related to microcircuits, numerical modelling of electromagnetic fields, optimal design of electric devices, electromagnetic fields, electromagnetic compatibility, planar spiral inductors, electric and electronic circuits, antennas, filters, wireless power transfer systems, programming and simulating mediums. Since 2023 she is the Director of Alumni Department, Pro-Rectorate University Management and the Relationship with the Socio-Economic Environment, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
