- Design, numerical modeling and optimization of electrical machines (PMs and hybrid excited synchronous machines, with different rotor configuration, DC motors, induction cage motor, transformer, switched reluctance).

- Design and construction of power static converters (ac/dc, dc/dc, dc/ac).

- Control of electrical machine (scalar, vector control – DTC, FOC –, opened and closed loop control techniques).

- Programing in C & assembly language of uControllers (dsPIC) and DSP (TMS320).

- RCP and HiL testing of power train in electric and hybrid electric vehicles – working on dSPACE platforms (1104, 1103 1006, MicroLab).

- Structural analysis with TestLab solutions (accelerometers, impact hammer etc.)
