Objective: The design of a temperature and relative humidity data logger, which stores the data on a high-capacity memory device and provides the possibility of printing and downloading them using a small factor thermal printer and the Bluetooth Smart (BLE) technology, respectively.
Abstract: The monitoring and control of environmental parameters, such as temperature and relative humidity, with the help of data loggers, in different domains, such as transport of perishable goods or pharmaceutical products, are crucial. Starting from the demand for developing this type of devices, expressed by SYNCHRO SRL, and from the experience of the implementation team, the current project aims to design and build a temperature and relative humidity data logger, which stores the data on a high-capacity memory device and provides the possibility of printing and downloading them using a small factor thermal printer and the Bluetooth Smart (BLE) technology, respectively. The prototype of the data logger that will be developed through the project will provide the possibility of continuously recording data acquired from temperature and relative humidity probes, of saving them on a microSD memory, and of printing the data in the memory using the attached thermal printer and a BLE connection. The beneficiary estimates a rise of the fiscal value with 15-40% and the creation of jobs for the manufacturing of the product resulted from the project.
