My name is Raluca Brehar.

I am a computer science engineer.
I have studied at the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. I have obtained the following degrees:

In 2006, Bachelor in Computer Science Faculty of Automation and Computer Science Diploma Thesis: "Field study and Classification of faults in Eiffel"
In 2008, Masters in Computer Science Faculty of Automation and Computer Science Master Thesis: "Meta-classification algorithms for pedestrian detection and human face detection"
In 2015, PhD in Computer Science. PhD Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Ing. Sergiu Nedevschi PhD Thesis: "Adaptive Search Space Pruning and Multiple Attitude Pedestrian Detection Models"

I am a member in the Image Processing and Pattern Recognition Group of the Computer Science Department in the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca .

My research interests include computer vision, pattern recognition, image understanding, artificial intelligence

I am specifically interested in object classification in traffic scenes, data mining and semantic understanding of video sequences.
