I work as a researcher in the Image Processing and Pattern Recognition Group of the Computer Science Department from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. My research is focused on computer vision, image processing and machine learning.
Since 2007 I am a member of the Image Processing and Pattern Recognition Group and I have been involved in several research projects in fields such as image classification, object detection and recognition, motion analysis and action classification, medical image processing, intelligent control for smart appliences.

As associate professor I teach data structures and algorithms, object oriented programming, computer programming, image processing and pattern recognition systems.
